Editing and/or Deleting payments

You are able to Edit and/or Delete Cash, Check or Other type payments, to Delete a Credit Card payment you must process a refund.  If you need to process a refund here is the help guide to walk you though that process: https://maxgiving.helpscoutdocs.com/article/67-processing-refunds


To Edit or Delete a payment:

1. In your Dashboard Menu select All Payment Transaction History,  once in the All Payment Transaction History Page find the payment you would like to edit.  ***You can search by any of the columns, just type in the search box below the header.

2. Click on the Edit/Delete Button to the far right of the payment you would like to adjust.

3. Once in the Edit Pop Up you can choose one of two things:

a. Delete payment from statement: This will remove the payment all together. **Be carful as once you do this the payment is deleted and can not be retrieved.

b. Edit payment details: When selecting this option you can edit the payment details, including: Amount, Type, Date and payment name. To make edits use the dropdowns or type correct information in the appropriate text box. 

***Don't forget to click the Submit Changes.
