Editing and Refunding Payments

Use this guide to edit, delete, or refund payments directly from your dashboard.


Access All Payment Transactions

  • Navigate to Statements & Payments
  • Select All Payment Transactions

Edit Payments

  • Click Edit next to the payment (check, cash, or other)

  • Update any of the following:
  1.  Check Number
  2.  Payment Date
  3.  Payment Amount
  4.  Payment Type (check, cash, other)
  • Click Submit to save changes

Delete Payments

  • Click Delete next to the payment

💡 Good to Know: Only check, cash, or other payments can be deleted—credit card payments cannot be deleted


Refund Payments

  • Search for the transaction by name or date
  • Click Refund next to the payment

  • Enter the amount to refund
  • Submit to process

Make Sure to Make Adjustments Before Refunding

  1. Update the guest’s record as needed before refunding
  • Example:
  1.  Remove a sponsorship
  2.  Remove a ticket
  3.  Then process the refund

💡 Good to Know: Making adjustments first ensures accurate records and reporting


Best Practices for Refunds

  • Process refunds from Pre-Event or Event Statements
  • Use the Overpayment tab to identify guests needing refunds

⚠️ Important: Refunds should be processed carefully to ensure accurate financial reporting

  1. Right-click on the image of the guide
  2. Select Save Image As…
  3. Save the file to your computer
  4. Open the saved image
  5. Click Print (or use Ctrl + P / Command + P)
