Ticket Sales Report

The Ticket Sales Reports provide several reports to help you monitor ticket sales, review reservation details, and track guest allocations for multi-ticket purchases. These reports are useful for managing guest reservations before your event and verifying ticket assignments.

💡 Good to Know: This report can be found under Reports → Guest Reports → Ticket Sales Reports.


In the Ticket Sales Reports Popup

The Ticket Sales Reports popup includes three report options:

    • Guest Reservation Report Summary
    • Guest Reservation Report Detail
    • Multi-Ticket Guest Allocation Report

Guest Reservation Report Summary

The Guest Reservation Report Summary provides a high-level overview of your reservation levels and ticket sales.

The report includes:

    • Reservation (RSVP) Levels
    • Number of Guests at Each Level
    • Total Revenue by Reservation Level
    • Overall Totals
    • Number of Guests Marked as Not Attending

💡 Good to Know: This report is ideal for quickly reviewing attendance counts and ticket revenue by reservation level.

Guest Reservation Report Detail

The Guest Reservation Report Detail provides a detailed list of guests grouped by reservation level.

Before generating the report, you can choose to include:

    • Page Break for Each RSVP Level
    • Guest Addresses
    • Guest Phone Numbers
    • Guest Email Addresses

The report includes:

    • Guest Name
    • Address (optional)
    • Phone Number (optional)
    • Email Address (optional)
    • Purchased By
    • Ticket Price
    • Not Attending Status

💡 Good to Know: This report is useful when checking guest information, verifying reservation assignments, or preparing registration and check-in lists.

Multi-Ticket Guest Allocation Report

The Multi-Ticket Guest Allocation Report helps you verify that guests have been assigned to reservations that include multiple tickets.

The report includes:

    • Reservation Purchaser
    • Reservation Level
    • Assigned Guest Names
    • Total Guests Included
    • Remaining Unallocated Guest Spots

It also helps identify:

    • Unassigned guest spaces
    • Unused tickets
    • Placeholder (TBD) guest entries that still need to be replaced with actual guest names

💡 Good to Know: This report is especially helpful before your event to ensure all guest spots included with multi-ticket purchases have been assigned.

After opening any Ticket Sales Report, you can choose to:

    • Download as PDF
    • Open in Excel
    • Print the report

💡 Good to Know: Exporting to Excel allows you to sort, filter, and work with the reservation data outside of MaxGiving.

How to Print This Guide

  1. Right-click on the image of the guide
  2. Select Save Image As…
  3. Save the file to your computer
  4. Open the saved image
  5. Click Print (or use Ctrl + P / Command + P)

💡 Good to Know

For best results, print using Full Page or Fit to Page settings to ensure proper sizing and clarity.
