Item Donor Receipts

Using the Dashboard menu select Event Resources under the Reports Section.

Choose Item Donor Receipts

Generate Receipts For:

A.  All Item Donors - generates receipts for everyone who has donated an auction item.

B.  Specific Item Donor - will show a drop-down of donors for you to select.  This will not show Donor Display Names, if you only entered a Donor Display name and not a Donor, you will not be able to get an Item Donor Receipt until a Donor has been added for the Auction Item.

C.  You can either print the receipt or click on email to email it directly to the donor.

The donor receipt does not include a value for the item donated, the donor can define the value of the item(s) when preparing their taxes.  This puts the burden of proof on the donor not the organization receiving the donation.
