Item Donor Receipts

Item Donor Receipts allow you to generate print or email donation receipts for auction item donors. You can create receipts for all item donors at once or generate a receipt for a specific donor.

In the Item Donor Receipts Popup

Use the popup to choose which donor receipts you would like to generate.

1. Choose the Donors

Select one of the following options from the dropdown:

    • All Item Donors – Generates receipts for every donor who has donated an auction item.
    • Specific Item Donor – Select an individual donor from the drop-down list.

πŸ’‘ Good to Know: Item Donor Receipts only include donors assigned to the Donor field on an Auction Item. If only a Donor Display Name was entered, a receipt cannot be generated until a donor has been assigned to the item.


2. Print or Email the Receipts

After selecting the donor(s), choose one of the following options:

    • Print – Generate printable donor receipts.
    • Email – Send the donor receipt directly to the donor.

πŸ’‘ Good to Know: Email that accompanies the receipt is customizable receipts are sent to the email address saved on the donor's record.


3. Review the Receipt or the Email

    • Review the generated printing receipt before printing.
    • review or customize the text in the email before sending.

⚠️ Important: Item Donor Receipts do not include the value of the donated item. Donors are responsible for determining the fair market value of their donation when preparing their taxes.

How to Print This Guide

  1. Right-click on the image of the guide
  2. Select Save Image As…
  3. Save the file to your computer
  4. Open the saved image
  5. Click Print (or use Ctrl + P / Command + P)

For best results, print using Full Page or Fit to Page settings to ensure proper sizing and clarity.
