Auction Item Table Display Design

Table Display Design allows you to customize how your auction item sheets appear when printed. You can choose which elements to include, arrange their layout, and adjust styling.

To set up your table display, click Auction Settings in the dashboard menu, then open the Table Display Design tab.


đź’ˇ Good to Know

You do not need to make any changes unless desired—displays will print in the standard layout by default.


Unsaved Changes

When changes are made, an Unsaved Changes message will appear.


Page Orientation

Select how your display will print:

  • Portrait
  • Landscape

Table Display Elements (Left Panel)

The left panel contains all available elements that can be added to your table display.

Add Elements to the Display

  • Click and drag elements from the left panel into the preview area
  • Drop elements onto the layout to add them

Elements are grouped into the following sections:

1. Event

    • Event Banner – Banner configured for the event
    • Event Name – Displays the event name
    • QR Code – Links directly to the item detail page

2. Item Classification

    • Auction Type – From Auction Type table
    • Item Category – From Item Categories table
    • Catalog # – Item ID number
    • Fair Market Value – Item value

3. Item Images

    • Item Photo (Large) – Primary item photo
    • Item Carousel (Small) – Displays multiple images (2–5 in a row)

4. Item Details

    • Item Name – Item title
    • Donor Name – Item donor
    • Item Description – Full item description
    • Item Restrictions – Restrictions or limitations

  • You can add, remove, and rearrange elements at any time
  • Not all elements are required—include only what fits your display design
  • QR Codes can be used to direct guests to the item page for bidding

Preview Layout (Center Panel)

The preview shows how your table display will look when printed.

You can also use this area to:

  • Drag elements within the preview to reorder them
  • Drop elements off the canvas to remove them
  • Click on the elements to open the edit forms to the right

Edit Element Properties (Right Panel)

When an element is selected, you can adjust its settings in the Element Properties panel. Some of the available options include:

1. Position & Layout

    • Row – Move the element up or down
    • Order in Row – Move left or right within the row
    • Space After Row – Adjust spacing below the element
    • Width in Row – Set how much space the element takes

2. Font Settings

    • Font Size – Adjust text size
    • Alignment – Left, Center, or Right
    • Font Weight – Normal or Bold
    • Color – Select text color

3. Additional Options

    • Prefix Text – Add text before the element (example: “Donated by”)

    • Available settings will vary depending on the selected element
    • Not all elements will include every option listed above

Preview, Reset, and Save

At the bottom of the page, you will see three action buttons:

  • Preview Display: Opens a preview of your table display so you can review how it will look when printed.
  • Reset to Default: Restores the layout to the original default design and removes any custom changes.
  • Save: Saves all changes made to your table display design.

đź’ˇ Good to Know

  • Use Preview Display before printing to confirm layout and formatting
  • Elements can be added, removed, or rearranged at any time
  • Styling changes apply only to the selected element
  • Reset to Default cannot be undone after saving
  • Changes are not applied until you click Save

⚠️ Important

Be sure to click Save before leaving the page to avoid losing changes.
