Item Sales Report

The Item Sales Report provides two reporting options for reviewing items sold during your event. Use the Summary Report for a high-level overview of sales and revenue, or the Detail Report to view purchaser information and individual sales transactions.

💡 Good to Know: This report can be found under Reports → Item Sales Reports → Item Sales Report.


In the Item Sales Report Popup

The Item Sales Report popup includes two report options:

  • Item Sales Report Summary
  • Item Sales Report Detail

Item Sales Report Summary

The Item Sales Report Summary provides an overview of sales for each item.

The report includes:

    • Item Name
    • Item Price
    • Quantity Sold
    • Total Revenue
    • Overall Quantity Sold
    • Overall Revenue Total

💡 Good to Know: This report is useful for quickly reviewing which items sold, how many were purchased, and the total revenue generated for each item.

Item Sales Report Detail

The Item Sales Report Detail provides a detailed breakdown of every purchase for each item sold.

Before generating the report, you can choose to include:

    • Buyer's Address
    • Buyer's Email
    • Buyer's Phone Number
    • Custom Questions & Answers

The report includes:

    • Buyer Name
    • Bid Number
    • Quantity Purchased
    • Purchase Amount
    • Selected Buyer Information
    • Custom Questions & Answers (if selected)
    • Item Totals

💡 Good to Know: The Detail Report groups purchases by item, making it easy to see who purchased each item and review any custom question responses submitted during checkout.

After generating either report, you can choose to:

  • Download as PDF
  • Download as Excel
  • Print the report

💡 Good to Know: The Excel export is ideal for sorting, filtering, and analyzing item sales outside of MaxGiving.

How to Print This Guide

  1. Right-click on the image of the guide
  2. Select Save Image As…
  3. Save the file to your computer
  4. Open the saved image
  5. Click Print (or use Ctrl + P / Command + P)

💡 Good to Know

For best results, print using Full Page or Fit to Page settings to ensure proper sizing and clarity.
