Editing Winning Bids and Reopening Items

Use this guide to modify winning bids or reopen auction items. Proceed with caution—these actions cannot be undone.

💡 Good to Know: If a guest has already paid, removing items may create an overpayment that will need to be refunded

⚠️ Important: Changes to winning bids cannot be undone once submitted

Edit a Winning Bid

• Go to Dashboard → Auction Items → Winning Bidders
• Search by Catalog #, Item Name, or Bidder Name
• Click Edit next to the item

Choose an Edit Option

1. Remove Winning Bid and Reopen Item for Online Bidding

• Removes the winner and reopens bidding
• Next highest bidder becomes current leader

💡 Good to Know: This option is not available on the MSA platform

2. Remove Winning Bidder and Sell Item to Another Bidder

• Keeps the item closed and assigns a new winner

  

  Options:

  • Select from previous bidders

  • Enter a new bid number and amount

3. Remove Winning Bidder and Leave Unsold

• Removes the winner and leaves the item unsold

• Click Submit Changes when complete

⚠️ Important: Always review payments before making changes to avoid refund issues

How to Print This Guide

1. Right-click on the image of the guide
2. Select Save Image As…
3. Save the file to your computer
4. Open the saved image
5. Click Print (or use Ctrl + P / Command + P)
