Changing Ticketed Guest at Check-in

Sometimes prior to an event or at check-in a new guest will be replacing an old guest, the MaxGiving Software has an easy way to handle these at check-in. For more info on Check-in click here: https://maxgiving.helpscoutdocs.com/article/58-guest-check-in

***Doing this process will move the ticket, bid number, table assignment and meal choice to the new guest but keep the purchase and payment under the original purchaser.  


You will start in the Guest & Bidders page, search and find the guest you want to move the ticket from. Once you find the guest in the list:

2. In the pop up fill out the new guest information. You will be required to enter a First and Last name, but can leave the Email Address and Mobile Number blank.

3. Once you have filled out the info you can choose to: Click on the Continue to Check-in button at the bottom, this will then take you to the check-in popup to finish the check in process for the new guest OR select Submit, which will direct you back to the Guests & Registered Bidders screen.

***If the original ticket holder was an online bidder you will want to add a new bid number to their record, as their bid number will have been moved to the new guest. No bids or purchases will be lost or changed in this process.
