Using the Rich Text Boxes

A rich text area is where you can format text with colors style, upload images and embed video.  These boxes can be found in many places on your site.

1.  < > Source Code:  Use this box to enter or edit the html and CSS directly.

2.  Image/Video: Click on this to use a photo or video.  For help with using the Photo/Video Upload click here.

3.  Font Size: From the drop down you can choose pre-set font sizes.

4. Font: From this drop down you can choose the font you would like to use.

5.  Text Options:  Here is where you choose how you would like your text to look. Bold, Italics, Highlight color as well as text color.  *For both Highlight and Text color click on the pallet to use a hex code to match colors exactly.

6.  Justification:  You can choose to have your text, images or video aligned left, centered, or right.

7.  Insert/ Edit Media: You can embed media by using this tool.

8.  Numbering, bullet points and indention: You can use these to help with setting your  text apart. There are multiple options for both numbering and bullet points.

9  Clear formatting: Use this function to clear any formatting form your text and start with basic formatting.

TIPS:

• You can also copy and paste into the text box by using Control+C to copy the text you  want to use and Control+V to paste it into the box.  
• To link an image or portion of text to a webpage, highlight the text or image and right click on it to bring up the link box.
• To make this box larger and easier to view more of your text at once, pull down on the bottom right hand corner where you see 2 little diagonal lines.
