How to Delete a Bid/Donation/Purchase


When choosing to remove a Bid, Donation or Purchase be very careful as once it is removed it can not be undone. You will need to use your Admin Login. *Guests that have already paid for items on their statement may end up with an overpayment if you remove items, so make sure you handle any refunds necessary in conjunction with removed items.  (Guests can not delete bids, donations or purchases themselves.)


To delete a Bid:

1. Go to the Dashboard/Auction Items/Winning Bidders.

2. Then click on the Bid History tab at the top.

3. Find the bid you would like to delete by using the search bar, you can look by bidder name, bidder number, Catalog#, or Catalog Name, and click on the Delete Button on the far right. **You will only be able to remove bids that are the current bid for the item, and only if the item is still open for bidding.  If the item has sold and you wish to edit the winning bidder or winning bid amount, click here for instructions.

4. Click Confirm on the pop up. The bid will be deleted and the next highest bid will now be the leading bidder.  If there were no other bidders, the bid will return to the starting bid amount.

***Remember once you have deleted a bid you can not reverse it.


To Delete a Donation:

1. Go to the Dashboard/Donations/Donations Pledged.

2. On the Donation Pledged Tab find the donation you would like to delete by using the Search Bar.

3. Click the  Delete Button to the far right

4. Click  Confirm on the pop-up.

***Remember once you have deleted a donation you can not reverse it


To Delete an Item Sale:

  1. Go to the Dashboard/ForSale/Items Sold.
  2. On the  Item Sold Tab find the purchase you would like to remove.
  3. Click the  Delete Button to the far right.  This will remove the item from that guest’s statement and add the quantity back to the remaining available. **If you do not wish for this item to be available for sale, make sure you have marked it as “No longer available.”
  4. Click  Confirm on the pop up.

***Remember once you have deleted a purchase you can not reverse it


To Refund a Bid/Donation/Purchase:

1. Once you have deleted a Bid/Donation/Purchase, you will have an overpayment that will need to be refunded.

2. Click on the Event Statements tab and go to the Overpayments tab.

3. Choose the guest you would like to refund and click the REFUND button. *You will not be able to create a refund for 24 hours after card was charged.

4. The Guest Contribution Statement will open and show the balance, including the overpayment amount. 

5. Click PROCESS REFUND

  • Choose the appropriate transaction to refund
  • Select refund method: Cash, Credit, or Check Card
  • Enter Refund Amount
  • Submit

6. Once the transaction has been completed, you will no longer see the guest listed in the Overpayments section.
