Complete Ticket Setup (My Simple Auction)

Use these settings to control how your ticketing page functions, what guests see, and how information is collected.


Access Ticket Settings

  • Go to Dashboard
  • Click Ticket Settings

General Ticket Settings Tab

Toggles:

  • Allow Guests to Update Reservation Details: This will send access code to purchaser and allow them to return to update guest information.
  • Open Event Site Only for Ticketing: This will open only the ticketing page, not showing any other site pages to guests.
  • Automatically Assign Bid Numbers: This will assign a bid number at the time of purchase. **Bid numbers can be changed at anytime.

💡 Good to Know: When a toggle is darkened and positioned to the right, the setting is turned ON

Preview Ticket Page Button

  • Click the Preview Link to open your ticketing page in a new tab

Ticket Settings

1. Select Registration Mode

Use dropdown to select one:

a. Ticket Sponsorship Sales Live

b. Ticket Sponsorship Sales Closed

2. Display First

  • Choose whether Reservations or Sponsorships display first on your ticketing page.

3. Max Guest Count to Cutoff Ticket Sales

  • Enter Max Guest Count to prevent overselling

4. Event Details

  • Event Description (optional)

5. Event Date and Time

  • Click in text box to set event date and time.

Event Venue Information

  • Event Venue Name
  • Event Address

Ticket Processing Fee

  • Select:
    • Required
    • Optional
    • None
  • Enter fee percentage

4. Select Item Sales to Make Available at Ticketing

  • Checkmark items to include on the ticketing page

💡 Good to Know: Only selected items will appear on  ticket page


⚠️ Important: Be sure to click Save before leaving the page or your changes will not be applied


Guest Options Tab

Toggles:

  • Remove Donation Options: This will remove the option for guest to make a donation from the ticketing page.
  • Do Not Save Credit Cards: This will not keep credit cards on file for the event.
  • Do Not Request Spouse/Partner Link: This will not ask if the guests would liek to be linked.

💡 Good to Know: When a toggle is darkened and positioned to the right, the setting is turned ON


Customize Ticketing Option Titles

You can Rename these to match what your guests will recognize:

  • Reservations
  • Sponsorships

Guest Information requested at ticketing

You may select which information you would like entered for each guest at the time of purchase and each can be set to:

  • Optional
  • Required
  • Don't ask

⚠️ Important: This applies to guests of the purchaser, not the purchaser. All information is required of the purchaser.

💡 Good to Know: Keeping this optional will allow your purchaser to select TBD for their guests at time of purchase.


12. Custom Guest Questions

  • Click Add New Button to create a new question.
  • Questions can be in text, multiple choice or checkbox answer format
  • Choose if required

⚠️ Important: Questions must be assigned to each ticket level, hey are not automatically applied.


13. Entrées

  • Click Add New Button to add a Entree option
  • You can add or edit entrée names and descriptions from the list by clicking the pencil

⚠️ Important:

  • Entrées must be assigned per ticket level
  • They are not automatically applied you must add them to the wanted ticket/sponsorship level in Reservation & Sponsorship Level page

14. Save Changes

  • Click Save to apply changes

⚠️ Important: Changes will not apply unless saved

How to Print This Guide

  1. Right-click on the image of the guide
  2. Select Save Image As…
  3. Save the file to your computer
  4. Open the saved image
  5. Click Print (or use Ctrl + P / Command + P)

💡 Good to Know

For best results, print using Full Page or Fit to Page settings to ensure proper sizing and clarity.
